Ras al Khaimah Tourism Office celebrates their first time participation at MITT 2007

Ras al Khaimah Tourism Office will participate at the Moscow International Travel & Tourism exhibition for the first time in 2007.

“We plan on a good number  of partners from the destination being present at the show with senior management attending from Al Hamra Fort & Beach Resort, Al Hamra Golf Club, RAK Airways, Bin Majid Group, Hilton Ras Al Khaimah and Tower Links Golf Club”, commented Mrs Hilary Mc Cormack.

Russia is traditionally a very important market for Ras Al Khaimah with year on year growth of 20% tourists arriving via Dubai International Airport or Sharjah International Airport.   The destination is working steadily to further increase visitors’ numbers to Ras Al Khaimah and strong growth is expected in 2007.

As a result, participation at MITT forms a key part of our overseas marketing activities which provides the vehicle to further develop relations with the Russian travel trade and tour operators.

In comparison to previous years, 2007 will prove even more successful for the destination as it generates keen interest for the new golf course and airline and the many residential beach properties.

During all the trade exhibitions where there is a destination stand, Ras Al Khaimah tourism office is busy ensuring the key objectives for the destination are realised and this means long days.

The companies exhibiting at the RAK Tourism office stand will promote

  • Al Hamra Fort and Beach Resort
  • RAK Airways
  • Al Hamra Golf
  • Al Hamra Village Town Houses
