ITE Travel Exhibitions reveals new developments

ITE Travel Exhibitions, a division of ITE Group Plc, has undergone several developments over the summer months and the fresh new logo reflects the direction and organisation of the division.

This leading organiser of travel trade events in transitional markets is delighted to announce the appointment of Stanislava Blagoeva-Duschell as Division Director. Stanislava has 18 years of experience in the exhibition industry and extensive knowledge of travel & tourism markets. With Stanislava comes a revised management style with ITE Travel Exhibitions re-focusing on client relationship management to ensure professional customer care for all those participating in their exhibitions. In giving a more personal service to the client, ITE Travel Exhibitions expects the participants at the events to gain even more from them than before.

ITE Travel Exhibitions is continuing to develop their commitment to the Russian, Central & Eastern European (CEE) regions and is encouraged by the increased outbound and inbound figures of 2000 from and to the region. Russia is going through an exciting period of growth and with Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov forecasting a 5.5% economic growth for this year all signs indicate to a prospering Russia. Even after the recent events in the USA, the WTO (World Tourism Organisation) announced at the 14th General Assembly in Japan that they expect their long-term predictions for growth in tourism to remain true. With this in mind, the regions of Russia and CEE are set to see general increases in their outbound market and with the increased developments of international hotels and complexes in these regions the inbound tourism will also benefit.

Presently ITE organises three established events in Russia and CEE, namely MITT2002, Moscow (27-30 March), Holiday World 2002, Prague (7-10 February), and UITT2002, Kiev (3-6 April). These shows are each the leading international travel trade exhibitions in their countries and ITE Travel Exhibitions is dedicated to constant development and improvement to ensure that these shows maintain their lead.

ITE Travel Exhibitions is set to extend and develop their events yet further in the year 2002 with more special features and events planned. Always with their finger on the pulse of developing and transitional markets, ITE is also set to expand in the foreseeable future.
