Holiday World welcomes organisation of "TTG Travel Awards"
TTG Czech Republic will team up with ITE to launch the TTG Czech Republic Travel Awards at Holiday World 2001. Readers of TTG Czech Republic are invited to vote on 10 categories for companies in the Czech Republic and Central Europe, which they feel have provided outstanding levels of service to the travel industry.
Director of ITE Travel Exhibitions, David Hammond stated: "As with all of our exhibitions, we look forward each year to developing new initiatives and partnerships with the aim of providing a greater service to our exhibitors and visitors.
This year, it is very exciting to continue our co-operation with TTG through the launch of the TTG Czech Republic Travel Awards. Having already successfully launched the TTG Russia Travel Awards 3 years ago (alongside MITT in Moscow), we are delighted that this event has been extended by TTG Czech Republic to take place alongside Holiday World 2001.
Awards Ceremonies have traditionally proven to be a great accompaniment to our exhibitions, as they provide an opportunity for the travel industry to show its appreciation to the organisations leading the way forward today.
I welcome our extended co-operation with TTG Czech Republic to host this event during Holiday World 2001."
The 10 categories are as follows: Most co-operative travel agency in the CR; Best tour operator for Europe, America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East; Best Bus travel provider; Best Car rental Company; Best hotel in CR; Best Airline Company; Best Hotel Group; Best National Tourist Office; Best selling destination; and Best CRS.
The results from the nominations will be announced to the winners and invited media at the TTG Awards ceremony during Holiday World (Prague Exhibition Grounds) on Friday 9th February 2001.
