KIOGE 2006 expands by 30%

On 3 - 6 October 2006, Almaty hosted the largest ever edition of KIOGE with 494 exhibiting companies from 40 countries.
A newly built 5,850 square metre pavilion allowed the exhibition to expand by 30% and an increasingly influential gathering also assembled at the KIOGE conference where delegate numbers surpassed 1,000 for the first time.
The first edition of the KIOGE Oil & Gas Job Fair was held alongside the exhibition.  This aimed to attract oil and gas professionals searching for ways to develop their career in the sector. 
KIOGE 2007 will be held on 2-5 October in Almaty.

GIOGIE 2007 receives official support from the Georgian Government

GIOGIE 2007 – the oil, gas and energy conference held in Georgia received official support from the Ministry of Energy of Georgia and the newly formed Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC).
The conference will be held in Tbilisi for the 6th time on 22-23 March 2007 and will cover a wide range of topics, including investment opportunities and energy security. With its unique geographical location, Georgia is at the heart of the energy transportation projects in the Caspian and Caucasus region.

New venue for TUROGE 2007

The Sheraton Hotel and Convention Centre in Ankara will host TUROGE 2007, the 6th Turkish International Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference on 27-29 March 2007.
This new venue will allow the event to expand and offers excellent facilities.
TUROGE 2007 is expected to bring together over 500 local and international oil and gas delegates, 30 speakers, over 100 exhibiting companies and 4000 professional trade visitors.

ITE Group launches oil and gas events in China 

The ITE Group has recently signed an agreement with the Chinese organiser Zhenwei Exhibition Co., Ltd to organise oil and gas industry exhibitions and conferences in the Peoples Republic of China.  The CIOGE 2007 conference will take place on 3 - 4 April 2007 in the Nikko New Century Hotel, Beijing China and the XIOGE conference will take place on 26 - 27 July 2007 in the Hong Fu Hotel, Urumqi, China.

OILTECH 2007 to launch alongside Atyrau Oil & Gas….

OilTech Kazakhstan 2007, the 1st Kazakhstan Petroleum Technology Conference, will be held alongside the 6th Atyrau Oil and Gas Exhibition in the Renaissance Atyrau Hotel, Atyrau, Kazakhstan on 11 - 13 April 2007.
The three day conference will address the key technical issues, challenges and solutions of developing Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry with a main technical programme as well as a series of workshops, seminars, round tables and networking functions.

New Launch!  Oil & Gas Job Fairs at OGU & Caspian Oil & Gas

Following the success of the KIOGE Job Fair, the fair has been incorporated into the OGU and Caspian Oil & Gas exhibitions.
Recruiters from oil and gas operators and service providers will be looking to meet experienced oil and gas professionals with a desire to explore new challenges in a number of oil & gas companies based regionally and internationally. Recruiters are expected to focus on students who have graduated from universities and courses specialising in the oil & gas industry.
OGU 2007 will take place on 15 - 17 May 2007 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and Caspian Oil & Gas will take place on 5-8 June 2007 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

ITE wins bid to organise CEER international event on renewable energy in Algeria

The ITE Group has won a bid to organise CEER 2007, the second edition of the International Conference and Exhibition on Renewable Energy, taking place on 13-15 May 2007 in Algiers, Algeria.  The event is supported by the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Algeria and will focus on development policies for renewable energy.

Kenya prepares to host the next key UNCTAD African oil summit

With attention on East Africa’s oil and gas potential increasing, Kenya provides the ideal location for the 11th annual meeting of the African Oil and Gas, Trade and Finance Conference & Exhibition. The event will be held Under the High Patronage of the Honourable Henry Obwocha, MP, Acting Minister for Energy and hosted by the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development, the Ministry of Energy, Kenya, NOC Kenya and ITE Group plc. The conference will focus on the ‘Interface between Hydrocarbons and Finance’.  The event will bring together an impressive assembly of prominent Ministers and senior level executives from the oil and gas and finance sectors and has become the focal point for all those concerned with the significant opportunities and developments within the African energy sector.

MIOGE 2007 – 80% sold with 7 months to go!

With 80% of available space already booked and over seven months remaining before the show opens, the Moscow International Oil & Gas Exhibition (26-29 June 2007) is expected to be another outstanding event.
MIOGE is one of the top ten events for the industry in the world and hosts over 600 exhibitors from 40 countries and 20,000 trade visitors. Major international and Russian oil & gas companies, service providers and equipment manufacturers exhibit at the show.

ITE appointed official sales & marketing agent for the 19th World Petroleum Congress

Following the success of the 18th WPC held in Johannesburg, South Africa, ITE are once again involved in this prestigious Congress. ITE Group was appointed by the Spanish National Committee of the World Petroleum Council as the official exclusive sales and marketing agent for the 19th WPC. The event which is held every three years is the largest in the petroleum sector and is often referred to as the ‘Olympics of the petroleum industry’. In 2005, the event attracted over 3,200 delegates, more than 500 speakers and 400 exhibitors and was praised for being one of the most successful and best organised events in Africa.

The 2008 Congress will take place on 29 June – 3 July in Madrid, Spain.

New event for the Oil & Gas Event Calendar

This year, a new oil and gas event was added to the oil & gas event calendar. The event took place on 26-28 October in Aktau, Mangystau Region, West Kazakhstan. It is a new event organised by the local partner of ITE – Iteca Kazakhstan. Over 50 companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Romania took part in the exhibition. 
A recent agreement between Kazmunaygas, Shell and Oman Pearl regarding the exploration of the “Pearl” oil field should attract more investors to the Mangystau Region and increase the number of exhibitors participating in the second Mangystau Regional oil & gas exhibition – Mangystau oil & gas 2007 which will be held 7-9 November 2007 in Aktau.
