GULF 4X4 & OFF ROAD SHOW 31st OCTOBER - 3rd NOVEMBER 2002 Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Gulf 4x4 & Off-Road Show is an international biennial event organised by ITE Group Plc and Intermedia Exhibitions. The 3rd show in the series will take place in October 2002 at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. The Gulf 4x4 & Off-Road Show will cover all sectors of the industry including: 4x4 Vehicle Manufacturers and Distributors Off Road Bikes, Trikes, Quads and ATVs Fuels, Oils and Lubricants Tyres and Wheels Motor Parts and Accessories Roof Racks, Bike Racks and Trailers GPS and Navigation Systems Auto-Sports Accessories and Parts Camping, Hunting, Fishing and Outdoor Equipment Clothing and Accessories The world's leading manufacturers of 4x4 vehicles will participate at this unique and highly interactive outdoor event and more than 20,000 visitors are expected to attend. The key feature of the show is an off-road test track enabling visitors to experience real off-road driving conditions. This purpose built, world-class track is designed by experienced test-drivers and engineers to ensure that the testing and "live" demonstration areas incorporate every aspect of off road terrain. It will thrill exhibitors, visitors, passengers and drivers alike! The course will be managed by professional personnel and will allow drivers of any skill level to assess the strengths and capabilities of the different brands of vehicles, so helping them arrive at a purchase decision. In addition to the test track, other attractions such as stunt driving displays, helicopter rides, rock-climbing walls, go-karting and contests will undoubtedly make this an enjoyable outdoor event for everyone. From off road vehicles to camping, desert adventures to boating, fishing and more - this is the Show where every visitor becomes an active participant. In order to maximise the flow of visitors through the show, the organisers are planning to make valuable improvements to the overall lay-out of the event, by centralising the demonstration area and exhibition stands. This will mean that all areas of the show will be easily accessible and more conveniently located. Last year's show was a highly successful event and there was strong representation by the major 4x4 manufacturers such as: BMW, Chevrolet, Daihatsu, General Motors, Isuzu, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Yamaha. We are confident that these and many more clients will be present at the 2002 show. The Gulf 4x4 and Off-Road Show is supported by both the Emirates Motor Sports Federation (EMSF) and the Institute of the Motor Industry.
