ITE MOTOR DIVISION
The ITE MOTOR DIVISION plays host to over 4,000 exhibitors and 1,000,000 visitors each year. Following the success of its shows in Russia, the motor division now organises annual exhibitions in Istanbul, Cairo and Prague, as well as a biennial exhibition dedicated to 4X4's in Dubai.
The Moscow Motor Show series consists of two events held in alternate years - MIMS (the Moscow International Motor Show) in even years and Autosalon in odd years. Both these shows are supported by UFI and in addition to this Autosalon also has OICA support, placing them 7th on the global table of motor exhibitions.
The first Moscow motor show was launched in 1992 at Krasnaya Presnya Expocentr and since then has grown from an initial size of 5,000 sqm to 35,000 sqm in the year 2000. MIMS and Autosalon are jointly organised by ITE Group Plc and ASM Holding, who are responsible for Russian and CIS participation.
ITE's partnerships with ACG-ITF in Cairo and ITF Istanbul have given the MOTOR DIVISION a firm footing in the North African and Eastern Mediterranean markets. Automech in Cairo was originally launched for the parts and components market. Its success in attracting international visitors from North African and Arabic countries has resulted in it becoming the marketing choice of the motor manufacturers.
In Prague, ITE and Incheba, one of the oldest private Czech exhibition organisers, hold 3 international exhibitions for motorbikes, passenger vehicles and the trade industry.
