ITE Group plc, the leading exhibition organiser in emerging markets, announces that Nigel Stapleton is resigning as interim Chief Executive and Director with immediate effect. Mr. Stapleton will continue in his capacity as Chairman of Veronis Suhler International Limited.

The selection process for a permanent Chief Executive for ITE is well advanced and the Company anticipates that a further announcement regarding this permanent appointment will be made within the next few months. In the intervening period, the Company's Chairman, Lawrie Lewis, will also act as the interim Chief Executive.

The Board would like to express its appreciation to Mr. Stapleton for his significant contributions and input since he became the interim Chief Executive of ITE three months ago.
