ITE Group Member IEG-Gima mbh, based in Hamburg, Germany, is an amalgamation of two experienced German exhibition organisers Gima mbH and IEG Solingen. Gima mbH (Gesellschaft für internationale Messen und Ausstellungen mbH) worked closely with ITE since its inception in 1993 and was acquired by ITE in March 1999. IEG Solingen, with over 30 years experience in organising medical, industrial engineering, telecommunications, oil & gas, chemistry, construction, agriculture & flora and food & drink exhibitions in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Romania, Belarus, Bosnia Hercegovina, and Bulgaria, joined the Group in December 1998. The two companies merged in March 2000 and as well as organising their own specialist events in Eastern Europe, act as co-organiser and sales representative in Germany, Austria and Switzerland across ITE's portfolio of events. In addition IEG-Gima organises the participation of official national and regional Government supported groups in exhibitions world-wide. |
