Together with its partners, Incheba Prague and Agentura Triumf, ITE Group organise several events across all trade sectors in Prague each year, including Holiday World, the premier travel and tourism show for Central Europe. In addition the Group, through Incheba Prague, has entered into a lease with the City of Prague in respect of the land and buildings at Vystaviste in the centre of Prague. Vystaviste, which extends over an area of 36 hectares, was designed by the famous architect Krizik, influenced and guided by Eiffel, and completed in 1891. The Exhibition Ground is currently used for varied exhibition activities but also for cultural and business events, including last year's Annual Meeting of the World Bank. The main exhibitions are held within the Industrial Palace, which has over 10,000 sq.ms net of exhibition space with a further 10,000 sq.ms. in adjoining pavilions. ITE focuses all its current exhibition activities in the Czech Republic within Vystaviste under the management of Alexander Rozin. The Czech Invest conference in London on 23 and 24 November 1999, marked ITE's development and closer links with the Czech Republic. The conference was spear headed by Pavel Mertlik, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic, who presented new incentives and investment opportunities to the City of London, and attended by 250 senior level delegates. |
