In partnership with British Trade International, the British Government organisation which supports UK trade and investment overseas, ITE has organised a number of all British trade fairs to support bilateral trade links between the UK and various newly emerged nations. This partnership has been responsible for Britain - Window for Business, which presented over 130 British companies to the business community of St Petersburg in September 1998 and Made in the UK - Britain in Poland which introduced 100 British companies to Warsaw in September 1999. The next event in the series, Britain Means Business, will take place in Prague 24-26 October 2000. A showcase of all that is good about British industry, the exhibition will target British companies who wish to enter the Czech market, as well as companies which are already established there and looking to expand or make new contacts. The exhibition, which will also include a full seminar programme, is open to all British companies; British Trade International grants amounting to 60% of exhibition stand costs, plus a supplementary 500 are available to all eligible companies. |
