Sir Jeremy Hanley is a Chartered Accountant. His directorships include the chairmanship of AdVal Group Plc and International Trade & Investment Missions Limited. Further he is a non-executive Director of GTECH Holdings Corporation Inc. and the European Advisory Board of Credit Lyonnais. He is a director of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of the British-Iranian Chamber of Commerce. Sir Jeremy was a Member of Parliament for Richmond and Barnes from 1983 to 1997 and held a number of ministerial positions including Under Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Minister of State for the Armed Forces, Cabinet Minister without Portfolio whilst Chairman of the Conservative Party and Minister of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs.
