The ITE Group has signed a cooperative agreement
with the Chinese organiser Zhenwei Exhibition Co.,
Ltd to organise oil and gas industry exhibitions
and conferences in the Peoples Republic of China.
The initial phase of the agreement will see the
two organisers collaborating on the existing CIPPE
exhibition in the capital Beijing and IPPE exhibition
in the city of Urumqi at the heart of the natural
recourse rich Xinjiang Uygur region. These events
will be strengthened by the launch of co-located
conferences, CIOGE and XIOGE respectively.
Matthew Moss, ITE’s Head of International
Oil and Gas Conferences, commented on the agreement. “In
terms of a strategic fit with our infrastructure
and development plans, this cooperative arrangement
is ideal. Zhenwei have developed two strong exhibitions
in this growing market and ITE’s international
oil and gas conference and exhibition expertise will
enable both parties to maximise the potential of
the events. ITE have opened offices in Urumqi and
Beijing in the past two years so we also have local
resources to add to the skills provided by Zhenwei.”
