This addition to our fashion portfolio further consolidates ITE’s market leadership in the fashion and clothing sector.”

David Wilkins, Managing Director of DEW Events Limited, will continue to work on the footwear exhibitions in tandem with ITE’s team. He retains an ownership interest in the Footwear London exhibitions.

ITE Chief Executive Ian Tomkins said: “I am very pleased to have secured this deal. Our Moda events continue to grow rapidly in the UK and by fully integrating footwear, we can offer a more comprehensive range of products to clothing retailers and it further strengthens the Moda brand.”

Footwear UK will be rebranded as Moda Footwear and will run alongside Moda UK, Moda Menswear and Moda Accessories to become part of what is now established as the largest fashion trade exhibition in the UK.

The Moda UK exhibitions will run from 19-21 February 2006 and 6-8 August 2006, spanning four halls of the NEC, with a square meterage of 18,000m net.
