ESCALATED BOOKINGS DEMAND MORE EXHIBITION SPACE FOR
WORLD FOOD MOSCOW 2001
World Food Moscow 2001, Russia's Premier International Food & Drink Exhibition taking place 25th - 28th September, has reached full capacity with over 4 months to go until the exhibition. Organised by ITE Group Plc, the world's leading exhibition organiser in emerging markets, World Food Moscow has filled all halls & pavilions hired for the tenth year event, at a capacity of 10,000 sqm. Demand for this international event has exceeded supply with National Group stands including: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holland, Hungary, India, Ireland & the USA.
ITE hopes to extend the exhibition by another 1000 sqm and an announcement will be made at the end of June after negotiations with Expocentre have been held.
"Demand for World Food Moscow has been staggering this year, since ITE acquired the show from Comtek last year its reputation has exceeded itself. We are currently in negotiations with the venue to obtain another pavilion to contend with the surge of international companies still wishing to book a stand." Tony Higginson, Project Manager for World Food Moscow.
For the first time World Food Moscow will be co-located with Sweets Expo Moscow, the International Sweets and Confectionery, Biscuit and Pastry Exhibition, which has attracted confectionery Associations from countries including Brazil, Spain & Poland. Sweets Expo Moscow has already reserved 70% of the 1200 sqm of exhibition space allocated for the show and the advantages of co-location with World Food Moscow will bring a cross-over in visitors from the specialist sweets & confectionery industry & the general food industry.
END.
