Ingredients Russia is the only specialised exhibition in the C.I.S. for producers of Food Ingredients Additives and Flavours. The 2nd event will be held in Moscow from 23-26th November 1999 and targets food manufacturers, brewers, scientists and government bodies within food & nutrition in the C.I.S. It is held at the Olympic Stadium alongside Drinks Russia'99 for the beverage industry.

The products displayed at Ingredients Russia'99 include: additives, spices, oils & fats, dairy ingredients, chocolate products, fruit juice concentrates, sugar & sweeteners, yeast, enzymes, flavours and other food ingredients and semi-finished products.

With Ingredients Russia'99 being the most important specialised exhibition in the C.I.S. for raw materials and food ingredients producers, the event is growing rapidly as Russia looks to develop its own manufacturing industry. ITE's aim is to create a platform for the industry which goes beyond the mere sales aspect of exhibitions. We hope to put a forum together where the industry can exchange ideas and be educated in the World's largest market. In 1999, Ingredients Russia will see the launch of: individual seminars and a Conference Programme organised in conjunction with the Institute of Specialists of Food Grain and Food Processing Industries and an Awards Ceremony that will identify the talents of the next generation in the food science and nutrition industry.

The profile of the show is enhanced by the official support from The Ministry of Food & Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Leatherhead Food Research Association, UK and The Russian Institute of Specialists of Food Grain and Food Processing Industries. Industry leader, Hoffman La Roche are the official sponsors of Ingredients Russia which together highlights the importance of Ingredients Russia as the forum for new developments, innovations and opportunities in the food, beverage and nutrition industry in the Former Soviet Union.

In 1998, 130 ingredients producers and distributors from 28 countries displayed their products during the four days and attracted 9,500 Trade Visitors from Russia & the C.I.S. The key strength of Ingredients Russia'98 was the vast majority of visitors came from a professional trade background and came from all over Russia and as far as Kyrgistan and Uzbekistan. Strong security methods ensured that members of the general public were kept out. 91% of the exhibitors rated the quality of visitors good and 94% found the exhibition successful for establishing new business contacts.

Ingredients Russia'99 is expanding and moving to a more prestigious venue- the Olympic Stadium. Located in the centre of Moscow the Olympisky is a 2-minute walk from the official hotel, the Renaissance Penta Hotel and is easily accessible by all major forms of public transport. Its location next to the Metro and on-site parking mean added convenience by either car or rail.

We look forward to meeting you at the shows.

Yours faithfully
