There is a very high demand for hotel rooms in Moscow, and as such it has become one of the most expensive cities in the world for hotel accommodation. In order to help exhibitors participating at EquipHotel Moscow '98, Alpha-Omega has negotiated special rates. Exclusive exhibition rates can only be obtained through Alpha-Omega Travel Ltd, who offer up to 20% discount on normal tariffs. You are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. Renaissance Hotel, Olympiskii Prospekt
Located conveniently downtown, 10 minutes drive from the VVC and 30 minutes drive from the International airport. The hotel boasts 488 elegant rooms, including 12 suites, all with satellite TV, International direct dial telephones, air-conditioning, hairdryers and minibar. There are 5 restaurants with Italian, German and international cuisine, coffee shop and bar. Twenty four hour room service is available, concierge, taxi service, secretarial service and a complete business centre, hairdressers, laundry, dry cleaning and a gift shop. The recreational facilities are also of the highest standards with a state of the art fitness suite and a 22m heated swimming pool, sauna, massage and solarium. The Renaissance Executive club offers private receptions, butler service, high security and a club lounge.

A popular 4/5 star just outside the city centre offering all amenities including an excellent restaurant – The Borodino. Friendly reception and a special welcome to regular guests. A large bar area, a good meeting point, is found on the mezzanine level. Approximately 20 minutes by taxi to the VVC.
Prices: - Single room USD $195 + 20% Tax ($234), Twin room $245 + 20% Tax ($294) per night, breakfast included. A saving of over $40 per night!

Sofitel Iris Hotel,

A French managed hotel located in the north of the city. Approximately 15 minutes' drive to the VVC. The Sofitel provides a free daily transfer to and from the exhibition site, and a regular free shuttle bus into town. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed with direct dial telephones and satellite TV. The rooms represent excellent value for money with top class 4/5 star accommodation.
Prices: – Single room $170 = 20% Tax ($204), Twin room $190 + 20% Tax ($228) per night, breakfast included. A saving of over $65 per night! (NB a supplement applies if the reservation is for less than 3 nights).

Hotel Cosmos,

This 3 star Russian managed hotel is conveniently situated opposite the VVC exhibition site, approximately 15 minutes' walk. All rooms have air-conditioning, en-suite facilities, telephone, radio and cable TV as well as a refrigerator. The hotel features 4 restaurants serving both Russian and International cuisine.
Prices: – Single room USD $100, Twin room $110 per night including Tax and breakfast.

 
Important Visa Information
Visa requirements for entry into Russia vary from country to country. You can obtain your visa through Alpha-Omega Travel Ltd – see note below. Non UK residents should apply for visas locally. Please note that there is a charge for obtaining visas into Russian. Remember to give yourself enough time to plan your visa and travel arrangements. NB Visa applications become progressively more expensive nearer to the travel date.

Business visas are obtained in 2 stages – Please allow a minimum of 21 working days.

1. Fill in and return the Russian Visa Support Form V1 as supplied by Alpha-Omega (not ITE Drinks Division). This will be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow for registration.
2. Once Alpha-Omega have received confirmation of your visa support registration from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they will inform you of how to proceed with obtaining your visa from your local Russian Consulate. For UK customers, Alpha-Omega obtain the full visa for you from the Russian Consulate in London. This service is also available for exhibitors outside the UK if required.
