CEM 2003: OVERVIEW

CEM - Consumer Electronics '2003
13th Moscow International Exhibition "Information & Technology"

22-25 April 2003 - Expocentr, Krasnaya Presnya, Moscow, Russia

What to expect from CEM Expo 2003

Since 1991, CEM has been the only specialised Russian exhibition that consistently attracts the world's largest and most well-known appliance, electronics, and houseware companies. Dramatic improvements in the Russian economy such as positive Gross Domestic Product (GDP growth rate hit 8% in 2001 despite 4% forecasted), a low inflation rate, high world prices for petroleum, and a stabilizing currency resulted in significant increases in consumer sales.

In order to assist thousands of volume buyers and top consumers, CEM Expo has been divided into three distinct areas: home appliances, consumer electronics and Hi-Fi featuring hi-end audio and hi-fi products.

Demographics show that the largest concentration of consumers with discretionary funds for purchasing "Western quality" goods is located in Russia's metropolitan areas and the CIS countries. Every year Russian families spend larger portions of their budget on upgrading their kitchen and living quarters. For these consumers, new appliances, audio, video and home products rank high on their list of priorities. No doubt Russia, with a population over 147 million remains an important strategic growth market for the consumer industry. The key to success is meeting face to face with high-level qualified buyers and establishing a rapport with them. LET CEM HELP YOU WITH THIS!
