The hotel is situated in the city centre, within only a walking distance of the main street - Kreschatyk - and within 2 minutes walk of the Sports Palace. Its location on top of the hill, exposes a fascinating panoramic view of the city and the central stadium arena. The hotel offers 385 recently refurbished single and double rooms, suites and business suites that have all standard services and facilities. Rated as 3 star hotel, the Rus is designed to meet the needs of business and leisure guests as well as the conference delegates. Every room features a private bathroom, colour TV (broadcasting 8 international channels), telephone and refrigerator. Extras in the suites and business suites include a trouser-press, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror. Business suites have in addition, a work area with a fax machine. | OTHER HOTELS: Kievskaya Hotel Situated adjacent to the Rus hotel and sharing the same facilities, this 4 star property is primarily a business hotel with a total of 330 twin / double rooms, 47 single rooms and 10 suites. All rooms are of good size and have facilities including telephone, satellite TV and a refrigerator, although the d�cor is somewhat "traditional", so may appear little old fashioned. There are six restaurants of different styles, plus banqueting facilities and bars and a full business centre available for guests. Hotel Lybid Built in 1970, this hotel is quite modern and situated just outside the city centre on Victory Square, about 5 minutes by car from the exhibitions centre and 50 minutes from the airport. It is a good budget standard accommodation with 280 rooms including standard, deluxe and suites, all of which have private facilities. The style is no longer typically "Russian" as the hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment and is now clean and comfortable. Facilities in the hotel include a post office, currency exchange, pharmacy, souvenir shops, service bureau and fitness centre. There are 2 restaurants offering a choice of Ukrainian and European cuisine. |
