The Sverdlovsk Regional Governor, Yevgeny Kuyvashev and ITE’s Regional Director for Russia, Alexander Shtalenkov, signed the agreement at the Innoprom exhibition on 9th July. The cooperation between the two parties will promote the development of international convention and exhibition activities in the Sverdlovsk Oblast and in particular, the regional capital, Ekaterinburg.
In addition, ITE has agreed to organise a series of trade events in strategically important sectors of the regional economy, including, building & interiors, food, automotive, transport & logistics, infrastructure development and mining.
Commenting on the agreement, Mr Shtalenkov said, “This is a very active economic region and in Ekaterinburg-EXPO, it can boast one of the largest and best equipped venues in the country. The exhibition industry here has incredible potential and I’m delighted that we will be working closely with the regional government to be at the heart of developments.”
