Malaysian-based ECMI ITE Asia, a subsidiary of the ITE Group, has announced the extension of its Cosmobeauté exhibition series into Myanmar.

Cosmobeauté is Southeast Asia’s premier event for the professional beauty industry and is already organised in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. The new event will be held at the Myanmar Convention Centre, Yangon from 6-8 June 2014.

Managing Director of ECMI ITE, CP Saw commented that. “The professional beauty sector in Myanmar is set to grow in line with the rising consumer demand for beauty products and treatments in the country. Brands from the United States, Europe and Asia are already becoming available in salons across the country as multi-national manufacturers re-establish distribution to help satisfy growing demand. Cosmobeauté provides an ideal opportunity for international companies to establish sales, partnerships and operations in what is set to become a booming market”.
