Management Changes
We have recently made three senior management changes to strengthen our business around key areas of strategic development.
Nik Rudge adds to his regional director responsibilities to take up the new role of Group Operations Director. He will oversee the continuing development of our industry sector focus to complement our well-established global network and regional expertise. Portfolio Directors in ITE’s Building & Interiors, Food & Drink, Oil & Gas, Transport & Logistics, Beauty and Travel & Tourism divisions will all report directly to Nik.
Baris Onay’s role has been expanded to encompass Group-wide marketing responsibilities. As the Group Marketing & Digital Director, Baris’ new position will strengthen the infrastructure required to deliver long-term improvements in event quality, customer communication, the development of co-ordinated global event brands and a range of Group-wide digital projects.
Mark Temple-Smith, our Regional Director for Asia, will now report directly to the Chief Executive, Russell Taylor as well as joining our Senior Management Board. The changes to Mark’s role reflect the growing importance of the region for our future growth.
Russell Taylor said: “These are important developments for the Group and are reflective of the changes in the exhibition industry worldwide. As the business grows, we need to maintain cohesion, especially in our dealings with our clients. This means an increasing emphasis on event quality, customer experience and the way we service our customers across industries as well as across regions.”
