The Dome - Balikpapan
The successful INDOBUILDTECH exhibition format is now expanding to East Kalimantan, the oil and gas rich province of Indonesia.

Balikpapan is the gateway to Indonesia's booming oil, gas, mining, agribusiness and forestry businesses. A seaport city on the east coast of the island of Kalimantan, Balikpapan has  a population of over 650,000, making it the second-largest city in East Kalimantan, and is easily accessible via two harbours - Semayang and Kariangau - and Sultan Aji Muhamad Sulaiman airport, one of the busiest airports in Indonesia serving 7.1 million passengers every year.

In terms of property and infrastructure developments, Balikpapan is amongst the fastest growing regions in Indonesia due to its strategic position as the hub for multinational organisations operating within the oil, gas and coal mining sectors. Balikpapan's rapid growth is being driven by extensive infrastructure, business centre, industrial park and harbour developments, as well as the newly completed expansion of the Sepinggan Baru international airport.

INDOBUILDTECH Expo Balikpapan is the newest addition to the INDOBUILDTECH series of events that covers 6 cities across Indonesia.
