JOB PURPOSE
 
To manage ITE’s global IT support team and lead a highly skilled team of infrastructure, server, security and 1st – 3rd line support personal responsible for ITE’s global workforce and associated IT architecture and systems worldwide.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Managing ITE server environments, including anti-virus, patching, security, monitoring, network and other activities that will maintain the integrity and uptime requirements for the company
  • Manage day to day IT Operations activities, ensuring high availability for all IT operations services
  • Motivate and challenge a talented team of system engineers/administrators
  • Partner with key members of IT and the Business to support ongoing business requirements
  • Ensuring that service delivery and customer satisfaction exceed published service levels and coordinating escalation of issues as required
  • Provide leadership to leverage technologies, processes, and disciplines for delivering best in class methods throughout IT Operations
  • Assist in planning and testing ITE’s disaster recovery efforts
  • Aid planning and managing of the operations budget
  • Managing and monitoring SLA’s and KPI’s of support teams
  • Dealing with escalation via support queue
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
 
Experience & Knowledge – Essential
  • 5 years of IT experience with 4 years in IT operations
 
 
Experience & Knowledge - Desirable
  • Experience of system implementation involving Windows OS platforms, networking (TCP/IP), WANS, Telephony and Windows Active Directory
  • Experience in system implementation across Europe & Asia
 
Skills – Essential
  • 3 years of relevant IT management experience
  • Experience supporting large Windows/Unix environments
  • Experience managing a data center
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both a virtual and local team
  • Regular travel required
  • Proven Project Management experience
  • Experience managing an IT support team
 
Skills – Desirable
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Multi-language skills – English and Turkish/Russian/Chinese
 
Personal Qualities - Essential
  • Effective relationship management
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to successfully deal with customers, vendors, peers and senior management
